We offer Plesk as
it uses less RAM, is more secure, and more reliable than alternative options
we have tested. On other panels many packages are replaced with custom
versions, whilst Plesk generally prefers to keep standard OS versions -
resulting in faster, more widely tested, security updates, and often
(if/where necessary) we can safely replace system packages without
conflicts.

1-Click Install Applications
We include Plesk Panel one-click applications
feature as standard. This gives you the ability to easily install hundreds
of the the latest popular open-source apps onto your server, including
Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla and Magento, without the need to manually upload
the applications.
Once deployed, your application can be configured
for automatic updates when a new version is released, to ensure your
application is fully up-to-date and secure. Comprehensive peace of mind,
without the need for you to be too technical.
Wordpress Security Toolkit
Plesk 17 Onyx has introduced what is called "WordPress
Toolkit 2" which brings professional WordPress management features to a
mainstream web hosting control panel. This includes the ability to detect
manual installations, create new installations (with control over various
configuration options), perform bulk updates, and manage plugins/themes.
Plesk 17 Onyx also includes best-of-breed security controls, with both
WordPress-focused options and traditional web security tools. This feature
will allow you to perform a security check to make sure WordPress has been
configured correctly and general security measures are in place, natively
from within Plesk.
Do I need a Multi Hosting package (Domain Hosting
Allowance)?
A really good question. The past couple of years
has seen large parts of the hosting world adapt to changes in customer
requirements. We are now seeing that customers are buying resources on a
"per domain" basis, therefore allowing each site to scale up or down easier,
when it grows or gets less popular. Most domains will generally go through
lifecycles like this. A new site will take some time to establish, so
consider our Option 1. As that domain/site grows, consider our Option 2 etc.
It's tempting to go top end and buy lots of things you don't need. We are
here to grow with and support your business or personal needs.
What are Domain Aliases that I notice are listed
above?
A very useful question indeed! If your primary
domain name is yourdomain.co.uk, forming the basis of both
your website and email addresses, but as you have grown you have acquired
other domain names, which are just pointing or mirroring your main web site,
such as yourdomain.com or keyword-domain.co.uk
then
this is a brilliant way to mirror the primary domain, without having to
upload duplicate websites. You get dedicated control of each domain, such as
DNS Management. Sometimes this is smarter way than purchasing Hosted Domain
allowances that you might not need.
Available payment options
Our primary method of payment for packages quoted on this page is via Direct Debit. Payments can be made securely online via our e-billing platform using a wide range of alternative payment options, including credit and debit cards, Paypal, BACS or Standing Order, however these will subject to a Payment Processing Fee of 4%.
