So why an Aquiss Leased Line?
Businesses choose Aquiss's leased line solutions for a variety of reasons. Some recognise that standard broadband connections without any kind of Service Level Agreement pose significant risk to the continuity of their business. Others see that sharing bandwidth with many other commercial and even residential users compromises reliability and can lead to performance fluctuation, whilst the consequence of losing connectivity altogether for any length of time is something they would rather not think about. Others simply recognise the need for a more substantial network infrastructure if they are to ensure continued quality of service within their business.
Leased line solutions are ideal for those whose business is heavily dependent on reliable connectivity, for example providing access to critical applications to employees and teams across multiple offices, adopting cloud hosted services, voice-over-IP and video conferencing to improve efficiency or simply because they require continuous and fast Internet access. How long does it take to provision and install Leased Lines?
This is the question most likely to be asked but the most difficult to answer. There are a number of factors that can impact the time it takes to implement a leased line so while we indicate that it will take on average 65 working days, in reality this will depend on the outcome of the site survey and whether any works are needed that will require the input of outside agencies, such as local councils or landlords.
What do you mean by a 100% service level agreement?
We guarantee availability of a circuit between Aquiss and the customer handover point (typically the carrier installed network termination equipment (NTE) or the Cisco router that we've supplied. We also guarantee that latency will be an average of not more than 50 milliseconds between any two routers on the network, measured over the course of an hour.
What guarantees does Aquiss offer if the Managed Cisco router fails?
If a router that we've provided fails, we'll arrange for a replacement to be couriered next working day. Replacements will be made on a like-for-like basis.
Can bandwidth be increased and decreased multiple times during a single contract term?
Bandwidth can be increased to meet changing needs without limit during a contract term but can only be decreased once. However, if bandwidth is decreased, you will still be billed for the higher bandwidth rate until the contract expires.
Does Aquiss restrict any ports on leased line equipment?
No, we don't block any ports on our equipment.

Experience customer service the way it should be
We were founded in 2005 as an independent, vibrant, family owned Internet Service Provider business, which still remains the case today. We are an extremely approachable company to work with, which is reflected by our customers staying with Aquiss for an average of 7 years. Our reviews also speak for themselves. We have never dropped outside the top 5 rated ISPs for over 10 years on ISPreview and we are also rated 5* on both Trustpilot and Google Reviews. What we do at Aquiss, we do well, as can be seen by the reviews below. |
