Is the line rental cost included?
Line rental isn't included as part of your broadband package. The cost
of line rental will depend on the type of calling plan you have with
your telephone provider. |

Do I need a BT phone line?
To start enjoying Aquiss Broadband, you'll need a BT landline or a
non-cable telephone line. |

Does Aquiss have a FUP (Fair Usage Policy)?
No. The package you have signed up for will have it's own peak and
off-peak limits. Those are your defined monthly limits. |

Will I be charged for going over my usage
limit?
Yes. There will be a charge of £1.00 for each GB that is broken into
over the defined package limits you selected + a £2.50 admin charge for
processing the extra charges. These charges will be billed separately
from your monthly charge. |

What if I have broadband with someone else?
We've made switching to Aquiss Broadband really easy. All you need is
your MAC code (available from your existing provider), a BT phone line
or similar and the rest is easy.
If your current ISP uses IPStream or Datastream technology to deliver
your current broadband service then migrations are free, just provide
Aquiss with your MAC Key during the signup application and we will
arrange your migration. |

How long does it take to switch (migrate)?
It takes 7 working days to migrate a broadband service. On the day of
connection, if you already have broadband with someone else, you will
experience less than 30 minutes of down time with your connection. In
most cases you won't even notice. This is an industry standard and
allows your broadband to achieve the optimum connection speed for your
line. |

Can I switch (migrate) from an LLU
provider?
Yes. Various broadband companies are now using a technology called LLU
(Local Loop Unbundling) to deliver broadband. If you have been moved to
LLU, to migrate to ISPs, such as ourselves, who use BT based
technologies the cost is the same as a new installation, £49.95.
Migrations however are perfectly possible. |

How much does a new installation cost?
If you currently don't have a working broadband service there is charge
for a new installation. This is currently £49.95. |

Do my uploads count towards my usage limit?
Yes. Both uploads and downloads are included. Usage can be monitored
from your customer control panel. |

How long does it take to activate a
broadband service?
Ensuring that there are no problems, it takes 5 working days to activate
a new broadband service. |

How do I raise support issues?
Any issues relating to customer service, connectivity or billing can
either be dealt with contacting Aquiss direct on 01746 708090 or by
e-mail at support@aquiss.net where you will receive an auto response
quoting a ticket (reference) number for the issue raised. |
